Christian women today: serving God while balancing family, and work and church responsibilities.
Women Ministries UnlimitedWhy is it important to be involved in Women’s Ministry? Women’s Ministry gives women unlimited opportunities to serve and centers on meeting the spiritual needs of Christian women and helping them to grow in their faith.  Women’s Ministry exists not only to serve women but also to teach women how to minister to others. It is action based on living a Godly life. Women’s Ministry educates and inspires women and connects women with outreach opportunities as well as forming intercessory prayer groups to pray for missionaries.  The Women’s Ministry also finds practical ways to provide support. Women’s Ministry might include hosting Bible studies, retreats, projects or social events. Women’s Ministry’s primary goal is to assemble the women of the church to share time growing in their spiritual knowledge and love of God.    Women’s Ministry involves blending the life of a single women, young married women with children, a grandmother and its ability to weave authentic parts of  each women’s life stories and testimonies to produce

In Biblical times, there were strong women involved in Women’s Ministry.  Women such as Sarah, Deborah, Ruth, Mary, and Martha, had a strong influence on the development the early church.

In 1925 the Assemblies of God organized the Women’s Missionary Council which was the forerunner of today’s Women’s Ministry. Evangelism and discipleship have always been foundational objectives of the Assemblies of God Women’s Ministry.

No matter the size of a church, a Women’s Ministry is an effective tool to build a congregation. Each size church faces unique struggles, and each possesses unique strengths.  Women’s Ministries doesn’t just meet the women’s needs, but serves to strengthen the overall health of the local church.  Women’s Ministry antimony ensures that the Women’s Ministries will continue to produce healthy active women of God.
