wilburnSuperintendent Bob Wilburn pastored First Assembly of God in Amory, MS for thirteen years with previous pastorates at First Assembly in Indianola, First Assembly in Philadelphia and Friendship Assembly in Philadelphia. Bob and his wife, Sharon, have been married 34 years and have three children all of which are married. They also have two grandchildren. Prior to being elected as Superintendent, Bob served as Assistant Superintendent/World Missions Director. Other offices he has served in include Executive Presbyter, Sectional Presbyter, Assistant Presbyter, Sectional Secretary/Treasurer and Sectional Youth Rep. Our prayers are with them as they assume this new ministry responsibility.
















emswilerAssistant Superintendent/ World Missions Dir. Gene Emswiler pastors Three Rivers Assembly of God in Wade, MS. Brother Emswiler graduated from Southwestern University in 1970. He was ordained in the South Texas District in 1971 and ministered as an Evangelist for five years. In 1975 he moved to Mississippi, serving in various positions over the years, including Youth Pastor, Senior Pastor, Sectional Presbyter and Executive Presbyter of the Mississippi District. He currently serves as President of Mississippi Teen Challenge. He and his wife, Teresa have been married for thirty-three years; they have two daughters and two grand-children, Alex and Bella.



















youngbloodSecretary Treasurer Derek Youngblood is a second generation Assembly of God minister. His family moved to Mississippi in 1962 and his father continued to pastor in the state until his retirement. Brother Youngblood has pastored for 32 years in Mississippi and Alabama. Prior to his election to this post he served for 10 years as pastor of First Assembly of God in Columbus. He is married to the former Teresa Teasley of Columbus and they have 2 daughters, a son and 6 grandchildren. Brother Youngblood was ordained in Alabama in 1983 having completed the required studies through Berean Bible Institute. In 1995 he graduated from Wesley Biblical Seminary in Jackson with a Master’s of Divinity degree. During his pastorate in Columbus he has served on various District committees as well as Assistant Presbyter and Presbyter of the Columbus Section. He has served 4 years as Executive Presbyter North prior to his election as Secretary-Treasurer in 2008.
